I've had that helmet for YEARS. I can re-use it for Halloween every 5 years or so, since that's about how long it takes to completely refresh my entire social set

A couple years ago me and about 8 buddies dressed up as all the different lemmings from the NES game of the same name. Running around campus was a lot of fun.

At that same party, a friend of mine came carrying a big block of water-softener salt. "Hi, I'm Lot, and this is my wife." He then pulled a salt shaker out of his pocket: "And this is our son."

I think I laughed at this one for couple of minutes. A salt shaker. Genius.

In college I wore makeup that made me look bloodied and ripped up, wore clothes that I drove over many times and then walked through campus.

I scored five screams and one RA rushing to me with a medic bag. Clearly a success


Another time I went as Grendel (the comic) which worked well.
