Hammer boots : These heavy boots with half-inch steel underlaying the bottom are almost weightless when worn. They have extremely sturdy, fine silk cords that cross over the tongue from each side, giving them a grip around the foot. When put on and laced up (two MEAs - one for each shoe)) the wearer may kick at a door, knock back an opponent or resist being tripped. Both shoes must be worn for these to function.

When kicking in a door, the shoes enact a knock spell each time they are used.

They may also be used in combat to knock an opponent back 5-feet and leave them prone (a standard action).

While worn, you gain a +4 circumstance bonus to your Armor Class vs. trip attacks.

Why AC? He isn't dodging and all you need is a touch attack(CMIIR)A strengh bonus to opposed trips is better IMHO.
