Thank you all so very much for all the good wishes

Indeed, I spent the afternoon goofing off, read a bit, opened a game of Puerto Rico, two San Juan games, punched out all the pieces, ate a Cornish pasty for dinner, had a snifter of ancient Armagnac, and then the crew showed up and we had some cake, lemon tart, and strawberry shortcake, played San Juan. Despite being my birthday, those devils thrashed me in two games

The family is going to have a special dinner for me on Sunday, likely,as that seems when everyone that is available can make it. As I am a bird watcher of sorts, wife Gail and son Alex are considering getting me a bird feeder...for which my cat Neema will be most greatful, I am sure

Now back to my usual stuff.
