Happy Birthday! Save Me!!!!!

Its my daughter's 10th birthday. I have a house full of 9-10 year old girls for the night and they're eeeeeevil. :\

My 6 year old son is demanding attention and that's eeeeeevil :\

So- here I am running away from it and leaving it up to my wife as I update my storyhours and hide on EN World.

For my son's 11th birthday last year, I hosted a dozen boys, ages 10 thru 12. I think you're better off than I was. I had to ride shotgun over shaving cream pranks while sleeping, hands in warm water while sleeping, break up 2 fights during a night time hide and seek game, and generally remain on stand by alert for 12 hours with a tranquilizer rifle.

Never again.

It is the next day and I have survived.

The night consisted of face painting

3 rolls of film (ouch!)

2 movies

A lot of tee-heeing

and only a total of four times I needed to seperated my jealous son from the girls.

Sigh.... In July it will be my son's turn...
