Happy GM's day, everybody!

Happy GMs day everyone!

My GM thanks go to

Chris, my first DM. You've never failed to run a game filled with both action and intrigue in the 14 years we've played together.

Pat, our resident expert on all games not D&D. Always there with what we need when we need a break from the sword & sorcery thing.

And Wayne, the guy who showed me what D&D can really do in a game that lasted nearly three years for me, and a total of seven for the whole campaign. I still flip through the chronology he did for it from time to time.

Thanks to you all!

Is anybody besides Natural 20 Press offering special deals on books or PDFs for GM's Day?

Yes. We are. :) Instead of $10, A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe is up for $8.

There's also a whole bunch of other guys. Check out http://www.creativemountaingames.com/gmsday.asp
for the complete list. (as far as i know)

Unfortunately, i don't really have a DM to thank. After all these years i've only played a few games. I've almost always been the DM since... '80 or so. But i very much thank those guys who'd take up the reigns once in a while to let me see the other side of the screen.

Mark's the mastermind behind it. You can take a look at the details here. :)

Not quite. It was Spunkrat who first came up with the idea, and Mark who did a lot of the legwork to make it fly.

Whatever. Credit it to the collective genius of EN World.

Happy GM's Day.

Oops, forgot to put in my thanks. Thank you to Jeremy, who got me back into D&D 3 years ago(3.5, actually) when I was still in high school.

Yes, tons of people are, but the main page only mentions us, I think. Which is a great oversight.

Hey wait. I need to order some stuff while the sales are still going on! I'm a DM! I can buy for myself, right? Come on everybody! Let's all get furshnucked! (or whatever you call it)

Um, anyway, yes, if you want to buy stuff, today's the day. But if you're not buying it for a GM, we will find you.

Alas, I'm spending the last few hours on GM's Day writing a mid-term paper for my English class. And it's Fat Tuesday, and I'm giving up Magic: the Gathering for Lent. This is not the way I wanted to end the day.

I just ordered the following for my DM from RPGNow.com:

- Portable Hole Full of Beer
- Tournaments, Fairs, and Taverns
- A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe
- In the Saddle: Horses and other Mounts
- Moon Elves
- Four-Color to Fantasy

Total: $18. Not bad for several hundreds of pages of Cool Stuff!

(Hmm... I ordered through PayPal more than 1/2 hour ago and never got any confirmation from RPGNow. Haven't gotten the download links yet either. Anyone know if that is normal?)

Thanks for getting A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe. The revised edition (screen version and print version) are coming out next week.

I don't show your order yet, but that doesn't necessarily mean that somethings wrong. I'm certain RPGnow.com is working a bit slower than normal today due the massive traffic morrus is creating *dig dig :)* If you don't get your e-mail, however, contact the chaps at RPGnow.com and they'll square it up for you. They're quick on the response and always do well for their customers if there is a problem.
