Hardcore gamers

My wife (at the time) was in labor with our first child and we didn't leave for the hospital until we finished a game of Risk (and i kicked her butt ) .

I used to drive to Atlanta (a 2.5 hour trip only because they live on my side of Atlanta) to game about once a month. I missed a couple sessions and so dropped because I'd never catch back up with the rest of them.

The most hardcore person I know? J. S. was our main DM at this time. He came to GM for us less than eight hours after his adult circumcision.

Yep I'm a hardocre Risk player.
I've got a home made World of Greyhawk risk board and cards somewhere in my basement.

Hmmmmmm.. .Greyhawk Risk and Dungeon! game combo. War rages on as adventurers seek treasures to enrich their sides military forces.

I'll second my wife's statement that we'd love to come down. Perhaps for the NC gameday. But in the end, it's all about money and time...

Hopefully we'll be able to swing down to one sooner (rather than later).

Wow! Bitter much? I've been married somewhat over 12 years, and it just keeps getting better: the relationship in general and the sex in particular. I suspect you're either gratuitously posting to get a rise out of other forum users or have just had a really bad experience or you have no idea what you are talking about.

Dont be too quick to judge - from an outsider the marriage thing may seem a bit different, or you've got a really good one. I've witnessed two guys from my gaming group to drop out when they got married. They also dropped from other social activities with their old friends. Thats two out of two for what I've witnessed.

I know for a fact that one woman had a problem with "him rather spending time with the boys than her". Of course, thats just being a bitch. They could be together almost contantly anyway, and gaming every now and then is not choosing his pals over wife. Just like your whole existence cant be just about the wife after marriage.

As for the sex over D&D thing, that would be easy to decide. If I wasn't in a relationship I would easily skip a session. Since I have a GF I'd probably go to the game.
