Harry Potter trailer #2

I watched Prisoner of Azkaban recently. I kept thinking "Man, if I hadn't read the book I'd be SO LOST right now." My daughter seemed to have no trouble following it though, so maybe it's just me.

Nah. I saw the movie w/o reading any of the books. It flows just fine. Going back and reading the book, I realized that there was another layer of events going on. They weren't critical to the main plot, and they were in the background (more or less), so they didn't distract from the unread viewer, but they did give a treat to anyone who'd read the book.

It's a bit blurred, right now, so I can't think of anything specific, but I know there were a couple of "Oh!" moments as I was reading. One thing that I totally missed in all the movies was that Fred and George were the Gryffindor beaters.

That's interesting, because it's the first things they say when they find out Harry's on the team. :)

I can't wait to get home tonight and see the trailer!

I am glad I never read the books. Frankly there are thousands of good fantasy novels out there and very few good fantasy movies.
