Parmandur
Book-Friend, he/him
Having read up more about the other possible scenarios, this definitely seems like the least undesirable outcome.
Netflix going from 18% of the streaming market to 21% is a big shift, but every other option also redu especially competition and stiffs the movie theatres anyways (Disney buying Fox hurt just as much as Universal or Paramount merging with WB would, and the decline of movie theatres is inevitable at this point).
- Comcast: Having been a Comcast customer for years...this would be terrible.
- Paramount:Seeing what Ellison and friends are doing to Paramount and CBS programming already, this would be a disaster on a level we cannot discuss on this forum.
- Warner Bros. Goes Bust: way worse, more people fired, evem more damage to the film industry, and general chaos.
