Harry Potter zit team

Del

First Post
So I just heard that they went through every frame to remove the appearance of pimples from the 3 teenage stars (and others?) in the next Harry Potter film.

Frankly this leaves me speechless.

Indeed.

They could also conjur up some decent liquor for the weekend after the quidditch game.

Man being a wizard in highschool would be cool.

Weight-loss spells.

Breast enlargment spells.

Height-increasing spells.

Charm spells on people you're attracted to.

Rampaging hormones given access to powers to really screw with people. No, being a wizard in highschool would SUCK.

Of course Rowling considered this. In his anger at the other student Harry's friend casts a spell to "eat slugs" which backfires. In this manner Rowling dispenses learned wisdom to students while deducting money from said student's parents bank accounts.

You forgot:

X-Ray spells
Worm's Eye View spells
Unlock, Unclasp & Unlatch spells

Oh, and my favorite for those awkward times:

Woodbane spells

For a moment there, I thought the next logical spell in your list was going to try to work in a large sum of money awaiting a small fee in a bank account in Nigeria...

Or the dread lengthening spell! :)

I don't have a problem with it. For one thing, there's the "standardization" concern. How long does it take to film all the scenes of a movie of that length? And during that time, how many different "acne constellations" will have appeared on the teenage stars' faces? I could see going through and making sure the zits all appear in the same place, but if you're going to go to that much work, you might as well just remove them and be done with it.

They do it for TV shows, they do that and more for magazines and I am sure it happens on many movie projects. What you see is almost never what you get when watching movies and or tv. Really, how is this much different than hours in a makeup chair hiding all of your natural skin under layers of flesh colored creams and powders?
