I wonder how much Wizards paid to have the PHB in there.

Could be nothing...if I worked for Wizards of the Coast and was responsible for making the decision to allow GE to use the PHB in one of their ads, there's no way I'd say no--free advertising on a national scale. I won't rule out the possibility that Hasbro/Wizards paid for the placement, but my guess is that the creators of the ad knew exactly what they wanted and Wizards gave it their blessing.

I was watching TV last night; and there was a commericial where a "nerdy" guy starts dating a supermodel, and in a scene, he gives her a PHB as a gift. It turned out to be a commericial for GE, but I wonder how much Wizards paid to have the PHB in there.

Why do commercials always riducule my interests. First the woman who knitted those horrible green and orange gifts and now RPG's
