Has anyone sold their 3e books yet?

Yes, I recently sold the PHB, DMG, and MM for $15 each on half.com. Because I only paid around $13.00 for them when I originally pre-ordered them from amazon.com, I feel that I did pretty well on the deal. I ordered the new 3.5 books for $18 at walmart.com. So, overall, the upgrade to 3.5 was relatively financially painless. I figure it cost me about $3 per book to switch. I also sold my splatbooks in anticipation of the new 3.5 splatbooks.

In anticipation of the upcoming release of 3.5 I sold my 3e PHB DMG and MM1 and some splat books on ebay. Made enough to buy the new release a my FLGS when it comes out. They actually sold for more than I thought.

Has anyone else done this yet? I wanted to get rid of them before 3.5 came out, I figured they would sell for more now rather than after.

I have thought about doing this, but

1) What would I use in the meantime for my two active campaigns? I could use the SRD on my laptop I suppose...

2) I'm not sure how long it will take to convert these over to 3.5. Me being willing id great, but everyone needs to be on the same page...

I'll probably end up giving my old books to my cousins though - trying to do my part to keep the hobby growing in the younger segment so we can keep playing until we're 80:D

Lets see. I have a playtest credit at the top of the page (my group was the first listed) at the back and signed by Gary Gygax, so no I won't be selling mine.

Also my gaming group has decided to stick with 3e, look at the 3.5SRD and choose to use what they want (if anything) from the changes.

I'm just using the SRD and my pdf's for the time being. I like 70% of the new changes, and I'd by the books anyway. I'm not much for going through old books so I saw no reason to keep them.

I've noticed more and more sets popping up in the used section of the various local gaming stores. Obviously some people are selling off their 3E.

I personally won't for a variety of reasons including laziness. ;-)
