Has anyone tried Blade Raiders?

The game seems interesting, but i'd like to see if i can get some opinions from people that have actually played or at least read through the core rules.

I am curious too. The game mechanics seem a little over simplistic, but still interesting.
The game world did not do it for me either when reading through it.

Our DM has considered this set as well.
