Has Enworld made you better?

This is a great community. I love the answers I get here (even those I disagree with), I love the people, the information...it's all good.

Even the amazingly complex, sometimes inane and always frustrating semantics throw downs (Ok, but how are you using the word "is" in that sentence) in the rules forum bring a smile to my face.

I stumbled on this place before 3e came out. I've meandered in and out since then, but always find my way back...

It has been instrumental in helping me realize that there are many, many people out there who are playing the game wrong have very, very different ideas about what makes a good or fun game. :p

Hell ya!! Not only has it made me better but my gaming groups wouldn't exist without it. So, am a better gamer as well as actually gaming because of it.

It's made me better too since now my goal (before Crothy hit 40 k) was to beat Crothy. Now I just want to get to 30K and rest on my laurels for a while.

Oh and it also made me the Sage of the Scarred Lands too. ;)

What I mean is this, Has Enworld made you a better player/DM/RPG creator or whatever.
I was thinking about this the other day, I would definetly say that I am better in the areas outlined above due in part to Enworld.

I am a better DM as I've read tons of DM advice threads, or worst DM ever threads, or whatever. The same goes to being a player. I've taken lots of creative advice on how to make the game better for those at the table.

Just wondering if others have thought the same

Absolutely. :)

En World has made Nightfall what he is today.

I'm sure some people are regretting it already. ;)

Psion,

Nah you don't. You just think you do. ;)
