Has there ever been some sort of River Troll?

In any edition, has there ever been some sort of River Troll or somethign similar, like a swamp troll?

A troll that would be able to move stealthly in water or a marshy area?

Any 3e stats on such a creature anywhere?

According to the SRD, Scrags are just like trolls except for the following:

SCRAG
These cousins of the troll have the aquatic subtype. They dwell in any body of water in any climate. They have a base land speed of 20 feet and a swim speed of 40 feet and are found only in aquatic environments. They regenerate only if mostly immersed in water.

It's at the bottom of Troll in MM.
Basically, a troll that swims (move 20, swim 40), but can only regen if completely submerged.
