if i'm hasted...can i 5' step back, cast a spell, and then as my partial action cast another spell (with casting time one action) and move another 5 feet? i do get a 5' step with my partial action right? that way i'd be 10 feet away from the fighter again so he couldn't full attack me and i'd still get two spells. i'm a noob. so pardon me if this has been asked 20 times before.
haste and casting two spells...

Progression.
1st round. Cast Haste. gain extra partial action, use partial action to cast another spell. take 5 foot step. remaining move equivalent action is either lost or to pull out a weapon or other object.
OR
take 5 foot step, cast haste, cast second spell. use remaining move equivalent action to pull out a weapon.
2nd round. Cast two spells, and a move equivalent action (either moving or pulling something else out).

You do not get to cast two spells immediately right after haste.
