Hate for new look for Green Dragon

I don't know about anyone else but I Hate the new look for the Green Dragon. It looks dumb they seem to have kept the basic look of other dragons, which is good, so why the change to green. I actually liked the old look. Everything else looks good so far, despite looking at way too many soon to be obsolete books. Ayone got a link to the picture with the new look Green Dragon, want to show others the image that inspires my vehemence.

P.S. It is really hard to type while a cat is licking your hand and pushing keys on the keyboard. :p

Dislike the nose spike, HATE the chunky headspikes. A shame sinc e the rest of the dragon is darn fine. I almost suspect dragons will get horn attacks too in 4E. ;)

What amazes me is that you can focus on hate for a picture while a cat is licking your hand and pushing keys on the keyboard. :D

To tell the truth, I dislike the idea that every dragon of a certain color looks exactly alike (except for size). I think there should be as much variety in dragons as there is in people.

As for that green dragon. I doesn't send me really.

The DC was 25, but he has many ranks in Concentration and the Horn Hater feat gave him a +4... :D

(Anyways, I don't dislike that dragon. It's different, yes, but I don't find it horrible...)

It wouldn't make sense for some green dragons to have horns in certain places, while others don't. That never happens in a species.

As for some dragons being fatter/thinner, having slightly different shaped faces, etc., that'd be fine. But there shouldn't be any more variance within a species than what would be realistic for animals.

Because it wouldn't match what we know in real life about six-limbed, flying, breath-weapon-expelling, spellcasting, talking creatures?

I actually quite like it.

In fact, now that I compare them side by side, I actually really dislike the current green dragon. The colouration in the Monster Manual is actually very cool, but I hate the head - dragons shouldn't look like frill-necked crocodiles! ;)

/me agrees.

Look at page 248 of the Draconomicon. That is a silly looking thing, at every age.

Horn > Frill
