Have Arcana Evolved, will tell...

What's not to like? All it is, is a different, simpler way of expressing exactly what you can already do. It just replaces semi-redundant feats like Improved Two-Weapon Fighting and Great Cleave.

How is it simplier? It's the exact same thing no? You're going to have to note that you took the feat twice. I wonder how this effects other feats that have things like Great Cleave or Improved Two-Weapon Fighting as prerequisites. Does it note that you have to have Cleave twice.... Not a big deal as there are probably few feats that require those as prerequisites but something I thought of when thinking of this type of set up.

Be interesting to see when it comes out.

I think its the same thing, but you just take the feat twice. You would just have to notate it again on your character sheet. Personally, I think its an ingenious idea. Especially from the standpoint of character creation. If I can read all of the versions of a feat in one place instead of going to subsequent feats like advanced, improved, etc. that saves me a lot of time. Heck, I might rewrite all of the 3.5 feats like this for ease of readability.

The only thing that changes is that it takes a bit less place in the book, is sorted better (no need to flip between Cleave and Great Cleave, no need to wonder whether it'll be called Great Cleave or Improved Cleave), and on your character sheet, instead of writing:
Cleave
Great Cleave
You'll write:
Cleave x2

Or Cleave++ if you're a real nerd...

OK, so what are the names (and brief description) of the new witchery manifestation types? (I don't ask for a rundown of each manifestation for each witch variant.)
And what's the theme of the new witch?

Witchery

No new witch, just a new manifestation type (spirit).
The spirit manifestations are quite varied... attacks, defenses,
heals, & utility. They fill in some gaps quite nicely. I'd say the
biggest bonus for witches in AE is a 3rd level spell than enhances
witchery manifestations...
