Have the PCs in your party seen each other naked?

It's funny that you mention it. In my D&D campaign, my players spent the first half of the last adventure walking around in the buff. Basically, it was a modyfied portal that sent their bodies to one location and their clothes to another. It was roleplayed well, giving the players a chance to describe the various battle-scars and other body markings they had earned over their careers. There are two girls and three guys in my group, so it was a little uncomfortable in the beginning, but after a minute or two it was no big deal.

Which brings up the most interesting and creative use of Unseen Servant I have ever seen in game: the party wizard cast the spell and had the servant shadow him with two strategically placed leaves. It was great.

Since the characters in my monday campaign usually start the day with a (lengthy) bath (in their roman-styled bath with multiple pools and such) yes, they have seen each other naked many times.

There have been a few times, including a trip through a portal (sans equipment, clothes, etc.) and a character that was a natural shapeshifter (equipment/clothing did not change). Plus a night battle in a castle (supposedly safe) in which the first round of battle, the party was scrambling for clothing rather than dealing with the enemy.

There has been a cry or two of "HEY, KEEP YOUR EYES UP HERE!"

No, I don't think the PCs in either the campaign I play in or DM have seen each other naked. Of course I also don't think we've ever had to urinate or defecate either, so maybe it happens and we just don't talk about it.

Heh, other than Vax's Deshabul game, no, not really. Well, there was the female barbarian that got reincarnated into a brown bear and couldn't wear armor, but that's stretching it.


And I agree with the "other people have more interesting lives"

This is a horribly disturbing topic, especially when I realize it made me consider the question.

In my current AU game we had a character (lost his last game) that, for some reason, would only fight fully nude - fairly disturbing. And the original members of that party were thrown in prison shortly after meeting, so presumably they saw some thing at some point.....

In the campaign that I am writing my story hour about, the group entered a teleportation circle that was trapped so that if you did not activate it right, it sent you to the frozen wastes in the Far North of the Anauroch desert sans clothing and equipment. It didn't last very long as the mage quickly teleported them back and they scrambled to get their clothes back on, but it was quite amusing nonetheless. In my current game, all the PC's eventually get to see eachother naked simply because of our rotten luck. Get captured? Stripsearched and jailed naked. Makes for interesting rescues.

But given that I'm now playing a Half-Succubus, I'm probably going to have a lot of naked time on screen. Oh, the joys of templating. We've also done some Instantanious Duration polymorphing for disguises, and that's best done in the nude simply because clothing and armor tends not to fit afterwards (Not your daddy's Polymorph Spell!)

We also have a Native Shifter who, even though she appears to be clothed, is technically very naked. Though, you'd never know it.

In most of my games I'd say that no, the party has never seen eachother naked. Though once a player played a female half-elf and others in the party spent a bit of time trying to see her naked.

Come to think of it I dont think I've ever seen any of my friends naked...

Well, let's see. Around 3rd level there was the time that our ship was magically razed, destroying most of it's structural integrity, and then passed up a magical wall of water that exists across the ocean. That pretty much destroyed it and left us in the water for three days. for a few of us, that meant ditching a lot of equipment that was weighing us down, inlcuding clothing. My character was nude at that point.

A little before that was a nice hot spring on an island we were visiting. Most of the party enjoyed the warm water.

There was the body switching incident in which our souls and our bodies were swapped around.

There was the Beltane celebration shortly after we returned to our proper bodies. One of the PC's was a bit amorous with his NPC love interest.

Two of the PC's are romantically involved.

There was the time we were captured and all of our possessions were taken. We were eventually left with the barest excuses for clothes, and leather collars, that our captors felt were somehow amusing. We took care of that little "problem".

There was another hot spring elsewhere that we all enjoyed.

There was the purifying waters at the Water Shrine.

Oh, why back at the beginning of the campaign was the renaming ritual that was similar to a baptism where our Truenames were appended to, to make it more difficult for people to find them out.

I am sure I am forgetting something. But, yeah, the PC's have seen each other naked.
