Having problems with editing tools while posting

Additional: it’s not happening on any other website I post on. The problem exists when I’m accessing someone else’s posts as well.

EDIT: it seems to be only happening on my phone; persisting after resetting.

It happens to me when on my phone as well!

Not when I’m on my PC though

I have noticed the last couple weeks having a problem like that using Chrome. Seems mostly when I am answering another post, but I do not start that many threads. This thread is fine, so might be my home computer?

The "toggle BB code" switch is local to your browser, so the problem with not follow you between various devices if you hit it on one of them.

That was it!

And oddly, that toggle was NOT visible on the main bar- it was under one of the pulldown menus.

That fixed mine as well! I’ve been dealing with that for like a year plus.
