Having trouble locating two feats

Mista Collins

First Post
I am having a tough time locating two feats I am pretty sure are out there in some of the source books.

1) A metamagic feat that allows a caster to "shape" a spell so as not to include allies in a burst. I am pretty sure there is a psionic version of this also.

2) Not sure if this was a feat/variant/house rule or not. But I am looking for reference to the ability to use your STR mod to Intimidate checks instead of your CHA mod.

Any help with this would be fantastical!

Perhaps you search for "Selective Spell" from the Shining South Sourcebook (Forgotten Realms)?
The Spellguard of Silverymoon gets a similiar ability, but even better. (Players Guide to Fearun)

This is, iirc, a house rule. Its pretty common in the groups I play in.

I think you're thinking of the archmage's Mastery of Shaping ability.

Sculpt Spell or the Master of Shaping ability won´t do such a thing.

Only such feats I can think of are in the EverQuest d20 player's handbook. Quest Spell is a metamagic feat from there that prevents the affected spell from harming or hampering allies, and the Brutish feat allows using Strength for Intimidate checks in place of Charisma. Quest Spell increases the mana cost of the spell, but of course, standard D&D doesn't use mana/magic points. But with the other metamagic feats that duplicate core ones, it seems that in normal D&D terms it would be equivalent to a 1-level increase in the spell slot needed. Quest Spell affects the caster and up to five other creatures at a time (so you can only avoid harming up to five allies with your spells using Quest Spell).
