Combat, Round 5 Cont.
OOC: Sorry about the delay, on with the violence!
Raven moves up to the doorway and takes a shot at Cultist #3. Her bolt sails true, and embeds itself in his midsection.
Tali tumbles around the red robed cultist, but the swing he brings up goes wide.
Shoot summons up another wolf, who lunges at the red robed cultist, tearing flesh, but failing to drag him to the ground. Shortly after that, Shoot utters another incantation directed at the red robed cultist, but he seems unaffected..
Fang snaps at Cultist #3, but the cultist proves to be too quick for him this time.
Cultist #3, under immediate danger from Fang, continues to swing at him scoring a solid blow and deeply wounding the wolf.
Anvuss readies himself to strike at any foe that tries to cast a spell.
The red robed cultist lets out a mad shriek, spittle flying from his lips. He swings at Tali, but his unskilled attack misses easily.
OOC: Seat is up next in round 6.

Fang = 10 pts. of damage
[sblock=El Jefe]Did you mean to say that Shoot casts Flare? Daze does not appear to be on the Druid spell list. Either way, I think the cultist still succeeds on his save.[/sblock]

Tali takes advantage of the flanking offered by the summoned wolf to get in a slash of his mind blade attack from flanking; dmg (1d20+5=21, 1d6+2=3) (OOC: At least, I hope a 21 hits.), though it's not a very solid strike.
Fang's loud whimper at the blow alarmed Shoot. It was plain that the animal was hurt, and Shoot didn't want to risk loosing his friend. "Down, boy, down!", called the troubled warforged.IcyCool said:

As for round 6, it's clear to me that Shoot needs a move action to equip weaponry, since his BAB is +0. I'm not sure if equipping a shield and drawing a scimitar require two move actions, though. If they do, I guess he's still on the table. If all that only requires one move action, then he moves 5' to I7 (or H7 if you rule that Fang can only withdraw to I7.) I suppose Fang could go under the table again at I6? And yes, I'm hoping that Down means withdraw, not turn tail and run.[/sblock]

With the cultists fighting, Seat sees little opportunity to shoot his crossbow. He aims at the one near the door and lets fly a bolt if he has a clear shoot.
[ooc: Ready an action to shoot as soon he's not in melee -with the -4 penalty, it's unlikely Seat would hit anything. In the case Fnag withdraws, he hits AC 18 and deals 2 damage]

Raven continues to fire at Cultist #3, but this time her bolt goes astray, clattering loudly down the hall.
Tali manages to land a skillful blow upon the red robed cultist, and is rewarded with the sight of crimson blood dripping to the floor. Shortly after, the summoned wolf vanishes.
Shoot crawls off the table, strapping his shield to his arm and drawing his blade. He calls out to Fang, and the wolf carefully retreats from the doorway to under the table. Seat, having waited for just such an opening, fires at Cultist #3 and scores a minor hit.
Seeing the wolf retreat, and still feeling the sting of Seat's crossbow bolt, Cultist #3 steps to I10 and swings his sickle, but the pain from his wounds interferes with his strike and he misses.
Anvuss steps into the gap left by the summoned wolf and brings his morningstar in an arc into the red robed cultist, blood splattering accross the wall. The impact of the blow sends the cultist bouncing off the wall, but he still manages to keep his feet.
The red robed cultist spins on Anvuss and, his eyes wild, swings his sickle in a deadly arc at Anvuss' head. The blow goes a little wide, and there is a loud metallic clang as it bounces off at an angle, causing no injury.
The door at E8 opens revealing an elderly man covered in a comfortable looking robe and trailing a long, gray-white beard all the way to the floor. He carries a cane in one hand, a silver globe on its top, and while squinting at the floor he digs out his spectacles and puts them on. "Mal old boy, what is with all of this blasted noise? What, are you trying to re-enact the Last Wa..." His spectacles finally adjusted, he stares, dumbstruck and in mid-sentence at the scene of carnage in the hall.
OOC: Seat is up next in round 7.
Everything is better with innocent bystanders!
