Head of the class (stonegod judging)[Concluded]

"Some of these things are valuable, though I'm not sure I could sort out which ones quickly. Should we quickly grab a few of the most valuable components? I'd prefer to come back and loot more thoroughly, but we cannot be sure we will have the opportunity. Hmmm... quicksilver and platinum nitrate might be valuable for their weight...."

Anvuss will loot what he can. While untrained in apraise, I believe his intelligence score gives him a decent bonus.

Since an entire alchemist lab is less than portable, his goal is to snap up saleable components as quickly as possible.

He will be especially certain to grab up anything he believes he can make a direct use of. He has scribe scroll and brew potion.

ooc: Actually, it seems an alchemist lab only weighs 40 lbs. We should be able to take the whole thing. Seems odd somehow... oh well, Anvuss gathers up the loot he found. If anyone wants to help carry it, he gladly enlists their aid.

OOC: While there is quite a bit of equipment here, there is only enough of the right items to form a single Alchemist's Lab (albeit with several spare parts). Anvuss could take the time to assemble an Alchemist's Lab, if he so desired (but it would eat into some of his infusion's duration (20 minutes on that weapon infusion, right?). The remainder of the equipment is mostly spell components, mundane chemicals, and raw materials (i.e. useful, but nothing terribly valuable).

I don't have the 'loot list' for this room with me at the moment, if you'd like to see it before moving on, I'll post it up tonight.

"Let's waste no time!" says Raven firmly. "Shiv is fleeing, and we must rescue Loris and claim the codex before they can be destroyed or removed.

Raven sprints up the stairs to see what lies beyond.

ooc: Agreed, we should move on. Anvuss snaps up anything of obvious value, and hopefully we'll return to finish assembling the fairly valuable alchemists lab later.

"Let's not forget the vargouille's... the flying thing's body" says Seat. "I'm interested in dissecting it as well - while I've read about hem, I never had the oppotunity to examine one closely. But don't worry, I won't start right now. The equipment will be secure here, and in the case we're forced to flee, whichever is lost will outweight by much the meager spoils we can get here."

"I'm trying to say we should hurry, before the cultists have any chance to recover from the surprise of our combined attack. I'm aware that some of you are hurt, though I don't know if so badly tht you need healing badly."

ooc: I think noone in the party is wounded enough to need a Cure spell, but if you want I'll be glad to provide one of the two Cure spells I have,

"Very well."

Anvuss heads warilly onward into the enemy lair. (He'll take 10 on a search check as he goes, though I expect the others will quickly overtake him and set a faster pace.)

OOC: Happy new year everyone! :D

Seat takes a moment to find a sack and put the vargouille's remains into it, while Anvuss grabs a couple of the more expesive components in the storage room before Raven recovers and heads out.

The party, led by Raven, forges ahead into the bowels of the old brewery. The stairs leading out of the storage room where they fought the skeletons leads to a 20' wide corridor which contains three other stairways that lead down into three other storage rooms (much like the one they came from), though from the hall, they appear empty. At the east end of the corridor is another large set of stairs that extends up and into a large room.

[sblock=Raven and Tali]In addition to the faint sounds of fighting that everyone can hear, Raven and Tali both detect what sounds like booted feet running towards the large room at the top of the stairs, though they are still very distant.[/sblock]

"Let's keep moving! Go up the stairs. I think Shiv is heading that way!" Raven shouts. She double moves that direction, sheild and sword at ready.

Shoot followed Raven up the stairs, keeping Fang close by for as long as the spell he had cast lasted.[sblock=OoC: ]Ok, I'm back. Shoot will stay within 5' of Fang for as long as the Guidance spell lasts.[/sblock]
