Healing a Ghost

I've just purchased Ghostwalk since we may incorporate a ghost PC into our current campagin. There seems to be one thing that it doesn't list (or I am not finding): how do you heal a ghost?

Do healing spells work? Can they drink a potion (since they can't handle material objects)? Does normal rest heal hit points?

Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

Undead creatures are healed by inflict spells.

There are other spells in splatbooks which specifically heal the undead.

Not sure about Ghostwalk itself, but in general Inflict spells heal undead (ghosts) just fine. I don't think undead normally heal with time rested, so it's basically Inflict spells or other negative energy effects. Ghosts can't generally wield material objects, apart from ghost touch weapons or armor, but they do retain the ability to use some items that become ethereal with them. How Ghostwalk deals with potions, I don't know.

Ghosts in Ghostwalk are outsiders, and follow all the normal healing rules. Inflict spells hurt them, but cure spells work normally; they also regain hit point with rest. They can't drink material potions unless fully manifested, though (but this is not a problem for any ghost in or near the city of Manifest).

If the ghost PC in your campaign is of the standard (Monster Manual) variety, however, none of this is relevant. Intelligent undead heal hit points over time, and can also be healed by inflict spells
