Hello fellow GRONARDS!

The intarwebz speaks da TROOF.
Language marches on. It did not stop evolving in the '70's.
I'm a grognard by today's definition, and I never pushed lead.
I don't wield it like a religion, because I steal from all editions equally.
I don't wear it like a badge, because I don't need no stinkin' badgez!
I'm not proud or ashamed of it. It just is.

You may find something interesting, whether or not you think you are a grognard, neo-grognard, gronard, or gonad. Everyone is welcome! ;)

Hello fellow grognards.

I starting playing board wargames at about the same time as I started with D&D. I've never pushed lead either, but I prefer things more at the strategic level so it's cardboard chits all the way. My favorites are Empires in Arms, Advanced Civilization (Avalon Hill), Diplomacy, War and Peace and the Victory Games version of Civil War. I loved AD&D, hated 2e, loved then hated 3e and was quite pessimistic about 4e. However, I loved 4e from the very first time I played it and it's also a real joy to DM. 4e isn't quite like the others, but it's the most fun since AD&D.
