Hell's Heart is up at Dungeon

You know, I'd go read this adventure, but Wizards technology is fubar'd again. D&D Insider won't let me login with my email address - the same one I converted just the other day for Gleemax access (and which works, right now, when I go to Gleemax forums). When I go to try to register that specifically for D&D Insider, of course it takes me to the Gleemax account registration, where it tells me that the email address is already in use - despite D&D Insider saying it has no record of that account. Classic.

And Wizards thinks they can make their DI a success? Yeesh. They can't even get cross-logins right.

Edit: Gah. Clearing cookies seems to have worked. Going to go check out the adventure now. Not an Ebberon fan, but I like Nicholas Logue's work. :)

I don't do Eberron, but I downloaded this yesterday and in my initial perusal of it, I really like the way the layout looks and the adventure itself looks really fascinating. Great job, Nick!

DING! We have a winner! I've been wondering how to add in the psionics content of Eberron; for some reason we've almost completely ignored that aspect of the setting. So I could easily have some old enemy of Viktor's turn his mind inside out, saying 'Sorry, Viktor, but I need you mad....'
Here's a real easy explanation as to WHY:

The Inspired Hate House Medani.

[sblock]Medani are smart, and they are about Counter-intelligence. They gather intel and use it against their opponents. The Dreaming Dark are freaking worried about Medani/Houses of Shadow learning about them and putting the screws on them. The DD all ready have to deal with the Kalashtar; they don't need powerhouses with the resources of a DM House on their heels.

Trelib would know their secret. More damning, Trelib knows that the Dreaming Dark have infiltrated House Deneith in Sharn, and are using the Deneith soldiers as a training ground.

Thus, the DD want him removed. Who better to remove him than his arch nemesis, Saint-Demaine?

With Trelib dead, that causes a small inner-house squabble in Medani. Not that much of one, but it causes a scramble for everyone to look into Trelib's safety deposit boxes, see what secrets he's holding, etc etc. Which gives the DD the perfect opportunity to steal Trelib's notes, or sow discord into the House. Particularly if Zelina survives Hell's Heart, but is Mindseeded or something equally terrible.[/sblock]

I haven't looked at the Meat of the adventure yet, just the background info, but it all looks solid.

I'm worried on how my PCs are going to try and get into Hell's Heart; I just know they're going to bugger the plot somehow, because they're just that dang clever.

I also might mix and match some of the Rogue's Gallery inside Hell's Heart. What's present isn't bad. But I might make some adjustments.

Perfect. The PC's are on really, really good personal terms with the Baron and they work for the House on occassion; it's the only one they can really stand.

I originally had more in my first draft, but they ate up a load of space...let's just say a certain pair of ogre mage twins showed up too. :]
