If the DM then choose to not allow my character choices I would then be able to reroll and come up qith a different character idea.

The DM is being very strict with stats: 3D6, you get what you get, placed in the order of the rolls

Lucan_Desmond said:If you're DM won't allow any re-rolls, then suggest just using a standard point buy. Thats what, 26 points right? I don't use them.
Lucan_Desmond said:Or the standard 6 stats: 15,14,13,12,12,10 placed in any order you want.
Lucan_Desmond said:Seriously though, if the rest of the party doesn't have crappy stats like this, then you're not going to have fun no matter what class/race you play. You're just gonna be a burden on the rest of the party.

I do believe you're right. Like I said, I've never really used point buy.Kafkonia said:28, I think, is the suggested, but don't quote me on that.
You are correct again, that was a mistake.Kafkonia said:If you mean the elite array, it's 15-14-13-12-10-8.
You could be right, I don't know how you want to play. All I know is that when I had to play the party burden once... I didn't enjoy it. Everything I said was either "Cleric, stay close to me!" or "Oh god it hurts! SAVE ME EVERYONE!! SAVE ME!!!"Kafkonia said:I don't know, I think that depends on the game and the party. You might be able to have fun and be a burden at the same time!![]()
