But on a completely unrelated note, I'd like to see these magazines straying away from the skinny nigh-anorexic models they're showing around these days. It puts too much pressure on women to look like that.

In Brasil, we have a saying that could be translated to something like this:

"DOGS are the ones who like BONES"

It had its few moments. A friend of mine who thinks (for some reason sensible people cannot fathom) Kevin Smith is the be-all-and-end-all "made" me watch Chasing Amy. I was more offended than entertained, and felt that most of the characters were precisely as unlikeable as they needed to be to not get any sympathy at all from me. Ah well. Each to their own, I guess.
