Help! Defense vs Mindflayers

I was curious so I checked it up - mind blast is a spell like ability that is specifically called out as being equivalent to a 4th level spell, so it seems legit.

A spell-like ability, huh? I guess, since it's "supposed to be psionics", that mind blast as a spell-like power makes sense.

Re: too harsh on DM

All I'm saying is: running a cool campaign is great stuff...good job!...but if you expect your players to be able to figure stuff out, you'd best stick with a common rules set.
