erm....do you have more details? What's the riddle for? Does it matter if the riddle is about using a bow/crafting a bow/etc.? How's it going to be used?
You don't have to expound indefinitely, but a little more detail may enable an appropriate response.
Q:He puts his hand upon my face, and grips me, ever light,
He knocks his shaft upon my gut, and grips it, ever tight,
Then he strains most mightily, as I bend over him,
I quiver, he released me, his piercing shaft I send,
Whistling a final dirge, a piercing note it strikes,
His ears, and my tips, they are; evermore alike!
A: [SBLOCK]
Line 1: You hold a bow with its face facing you, and its back facing away from you, gripping lightly.
Line 2: You knock an arrow to the string (gut, in this case), gripping tightly.
Line 3: You draw the bow, and it bends over you.
Line 4: You release the string, the bow quivers, and the arrow is shot.
Line 5: The arrow whistles as it flies, pierces (and a dirge is a death song).
Line 6: Elves' ears are pointy, like the ends of their bows.
