D&D 4E Help me eliminate scaling from 4e!

I was asked to write up my rules that I use for conventions. Since I was making PCs for TotalCon, which is next month, I figured I would write up a quick bit.

I'll be adding a chart to determine healing surges, etc., later this week.

I've included a version that is easier to read on an i-Pad or tablet device as well.

Any constructive feedback would be appreciated.

I don't mean to threadcap, but you seem to dislike both levels and classes. Have you considered trying a different game?

I am curious to see some of the suggestions though. I've been doing a little work toward lessening the power curve between levels myself.

I think having hit points being the main advantage gained by leveling is a good idea. A 10th level fighter just survives a whole lot more than a 1st level fighter does, in addition to having a small bonus to hit and defenses, like +2 or +3 over the 1st level guy.

nine - I love the Simply4e idea. Would be a lot easier to run newcomers through with this mod. One question - it says in the document (p3 of the iPad version) that there's a table for class hit points, etc, but I don't see it. Will it be in a future release?

Thanks - and again good work.

Here is the latest that I have, its 1:20 AM and I just finished typing it up, so there may be mistakes and typos.

Just to note, I've used this system successfully with Essentials characters, while I have a bit of experience with 4E, I don't usually play with the PHB styled characters.
