I went the AMD route and it has brought me nothing but trouble and lockups. I am going back to Intel for my workstation rig as i don't have ANY problems with intel & Nvidia like i do with my AMD rig...
oh that and i bought a 76gb U160 drive for $150....i love computers...
Granite Bay has been around for a month or so. I think you mean Springdale, which will support 800 Mhz FSB. Will probably be out in April or May if we are lucky.
