At a crossroad - new PC or my old Mac?

Speaking from the opposite side of the coin: I'm a Microsoft Developer. I dislike PCs. I use a Mac at home and for most freelancing work. It is easier to "trash" a Virutal PC installation of Windows than to rebuild a whole Windows machine when it crashes (and it invariably does).

I've not had to reinstall my Mac except when I jumped from OS 10.1 to OS 10.4.

However I can admit that for gaming variety, the PC does have the prize. I play Warcraft on my Mac all the time, and the graphics are fantastic, however there are games I just cannot play on the Mac.

In the end, it matters not the machine you use, but rather what the task at hand is. For games, use that PC.

Thanks everyone for the advice :)

I ended up getting a USB KVM switch so I can share my monitor, keyboard, etc. on both computers. Right now, I'm still using my Mac for work, but I've been exploring around my PC to get used to it. The first thing I did was put some antivirus & spyware software on it.

WoW runs REALLY great on my PC. Overall, it feels very fast as well.

I'll run both for a while until I decide which way I want to go. I haven't decided yet, but I might end up just keeping and using both machines. That's getting the best of both worlds, I suppose ;)
