Help me make a sneaky PC.

I want to create a PC who has the potential capabilities to get whatever he wants and getting away with it. If he wanted to rob a bank, he would have all the resources that he needed, if he wanted to kill the king and take over, he also possess those resources as well, and in the end becoming someone that people don’t know, that people assume they know very well. I know this may be confusing to some, and I am sorry.

Since I am limited to CORE BOOKS only, I was thinking of a Rouge/assassin/sorcerer. If any of you guys have any other suggestions about this PC let me know. What kind of gear should I get and why, what about feats, what are some things that I should aim my abilities scores towards also.

Rogue/Wizard/Arcane Trickster works better. Less MAD, more focus on high level casting which gets you resources and enables you to kill people dead.
