Also think about city concept: what makes the city special? It is the city that never sleeps, the most dangerous city on the gold coast, you can buy anything is it, sin city, the entertainment capital of the world, the pearl of the south seas. Now why.

Lists of NPCs.

List of professions.

Maybe a few 'famous' NPCs who are really skilled at their crafts, an Expert's Expert so to say.

A few odd shops ready for insertion into the game.

Mystic Eye had some Foul Locals and the old Buffalo Games had their variosu City Books for those without time for preperation.

since this was their hometown.

perhaps focus on changes the PCs may have noticed since they left.

a new building or a new store where Bob's old feedstore used to be

how the kids have grown up? or perhaps some of the elders have passed away.

some old buddies taking them out for a night on the town. but it isn't like the old days. cuz now the PCs have money. lots more money...
