Help me making a 12th-level Dwarven Avenger with Big Axe

I am to attend as a PC for Revenge of the Giants campaign and thus must create a 12th-level PC.
The basic regulation will be "books only". So no Dungeon or Dragon stuffs.

Before someone suggest other type of characters, I must describe that my primal goal is to use the following mini as a PC in DnD Game.

So, an avenger with Execution Axe is ideal.

I made him into a Radiant Servant as it will make him score critical often, and his Vicious Execution Axe will do good job.
His melee basic attack and 1[W] Weapon powers will be +17 vs AC and 1d12+13 (5d12+25) brutal. Or +15 vs AC and 6 more damages with Power Attack. And anything except his melee basic attack will crit on 19-20.
But making him into usual Avenger and giving him Jagged Weapon could be another choice.

My current biggest concern is, as I only chose powers with Radiant keyword, his Encounters may be sub-per.
Maybe I can change his deity to Pelor for taking Solar Enemy. But flavor-wise, I want to make him a worshiper of Moradin who hunts down giants and their kins.

Would you please optimize this build and give some advice?
But remember, I want to use that mini. So do not suggest me to change his weapon into crusader Mordenclad or something.

And here is my second plan. Now his 1[W] attack deal 1 less damage (1d12+12) on hit and much less damage on critical (2d12+24 and ongoing 10 damage). But his melee basic attack also crit at 19-20 and he seems to have better encounter and daily attack powers, I guess.

Flavor-wise, I like the second build better. For at-wills, I really like Leading Strike that gives my ally a damage bonus. That's a nice incentive to keep teh defender with me, helping to make sure only one enemy can get adjacent to me to keep my oath roll going.
