Here's an obscure foreign film reference:

"The Australian"

(The returning throwing knife of the main character in the post-apocolyptic French movie, Delicatessen.)

Boomer (...ang).

Rico (...chet).

Albee (...back).

Needle, or Weft (for something that goes through and comes back).

weapon Names

Might depend on style of game, but some slightly scoundrelly characters favour womens names for their weapons (in these cases, guns, but a returning weapon works well too)

Jayne Cobb: Vera
John Crichton: Winona

might work.

"You gave it a girl's name. How very serial killer of you," Xander, Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode "The Zeppo."

Oh, that's perfect. I'm a big fan of giving weapons short names that are actual words (like Ice, Thorn, Sting), and I can really see a little halfling naming his returning dagger "Fetch". :D I really can't think of anything better.
