Help Me Select a 2nd Level 3.5e Dungeon Crawl

First Post
I would love suggestions for a premade 3.5e adventure for 4 2nd-level characters. I need some very specific parameters, though:

1. Dungeon-based
2. Can be run in about 2/2.5 hours
3. Ends with the PCs acquiring an artifact or treasure so I can substitute my own artifact.
4. No kobolds, please.

Thanks :)

Um, you know I can't think of any module that gives second level characters an Artifact.

I'd go with DCC 11 Dragonfiend pact, it is not that long, and cheap at 2 bucks. Goodman Games wrote it.

I cannot speak highly enough of The Dragonfiend Pact. The characters are trying to recover stolen treasures by a surprise villain (well, two different surprises, in fact), so it'd be a perfect place to insert a stolen item (from another town) that you want them to get.

Can't think of a 2nd level one with an artifact, but Green Ronin's recent Beyond the Towers is for 2nd level characters, and features a dungeon crawl/archeological treasure hunt. Easy to modify with an artifact if need be and it's a good adventure.

How about: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/oa/20050329a

It has very minor magic items which you can easily substitute for something better and you can probably just add a hobgoblin to some of the encounters if your party is too easily overpowering them.

Yeah, given the 2.5 hour limit, A Dark and Stormy Knight would be my choice, too. It's a pretty nice example of a one-session dungeon crawl. Of course, you could always just grab a small map from the map-a-week archives, plop down 4-5 encounters (say 1 at EL 1, a finale at EL 3 or 4, and the rest EL 2), and you'd be good to go.
