Unless you change Dwarf to Human you're going to suffer an XP penalty for Monk being more than 1 level away from Paladin.

EDIT: Also, you can only Flurry when unarmored.
EDIT: Also, you take a -2 penalty to attacks while using a tower shield.
EDIT: Also, I'm just pointing out things as I go along. You probably know all these already, but I have no way of knowing if you know, ya know?
EDIT: Okay, I'm done. :D Pretty nice (few minor things excluded).

Unfortunately with any race even human / half-elf it is the highest level class which is not counted.

So any race will get that 20% xp penalty

My sheet calculates the -2 penalty on attacks due to tower shield so the numbers are right

BAB +9, Str +2, Weapon Focus +1 Tower Shield -2, Pri +10 unarmed
:)

Aww no flurry but still sick stuff :)

At that point I'd just use a weapon. You'll do more damage and you only need to progress Fighter levels. If you find yourself gearless, well, whamie, out with the famed dwarven fists of stone.

How about a wildshaping barbarian? Half-Orc Barbarian 1/Druid 9. (Eventually Barbarian 2/Druid 18)

Why half-orc ? You lose all the benefits when you wildshape (str +2, darkvision) and keep all the penalties (int -2, cha -2). Human is much better, extra feat + skill points is very nice for a druid.

Of course, the Paladin should fight with a weapon (Longsword, Greatsword, etc).

Power Attack is a must-have, anyways. :)

I'd maybe lower Dex (or maybe Int or Wis or some combination) and get Cha to 16.
Altho, the AC might be more useful. Saves are great already. :D

The Monk just grants some neat stuff, but unarmed/unarmored fighting is for pure Monks. ;)

Bye
