Help on a Rogue 4/Wizard 5/Arcane Trickster 3

I think you have some errors in your Skill pts available as well (specifically your wizard levels).

Skill pts 66 (3 lvls of Rog) +31 (5 Wiz, last with 18 Int.) + 32 (4 Arc Trk) = 129 pts

.

Wizards only get skill points worth 2 + intmod. I don't see where I've messed up.

I figured out why I think u had an error I didnt realize that both the 15 and the 12 for wizard levels for some reason I thought the 12 was for your last rogue level taken after the wizard levels and the 15 was for the wizard levels alone. Anyway whats the party makeup like is there another rogue or arcane caster/blaster or are you going to try and fill both roles.

Anyway I've played an arcane trickster build up from 1st level and I still think u should ditch the extra rogue level the difference of 4 skill points and Uncanny Dodge just isnt worth the spell level and delayed sneak attack/extra AT abilities.

Its not determined yet, its an on line PbP campaign, taking applications and then accepting who he wants. I'd like it to be an OK rogue with some good firepower/fighting ability at ranged/arcane.

Did you look at the whisper gnome as a race? Great benefits with no level hit. I also ran this class in a campaign. The most effective combat combo i used was improved invisibility mixed with bow feats(ie. rapid shot, point blank) and the sneak attack damage. Add cats grace and other boosting spells to taste. I found that spells should be used to supplement staying invisible and boosting your odds of hitting and doing more damage, not being your primary means of damage. Any spell that keeps you out of HtH combat while dealing sneak attack damage should be your primary concern. Also, a high sleight of hand with improved invis. will give you options with ranged legerdemain in combat you never thought of. See a wand on an enemy wizard you'd rather he not have? That healing potion you need on the clerics belt. the list goes on. Also, hide with a whisper gnome is a very disgusting skill. My whisper gnome had a 25 hide check at 12th level. Yes, the bonusess stack.
