My first instinct is to go straight Wizard, to reduce MAD and competition. Alternately a Strength-based Fighter, in part because I watched Strength go so late in the last drafts, so again, less competition.

@TwoSix : If we draft a "+2", does that get applied to whatever stat we want after the draft is complete? So, for example, could it be combined with a racial +2 to bump a 16 up to a 20, or applied to one of your default 8s to make it a 10?

Yes, all stat adjustments are applied after any flat stats you pick, and stack with racials. They can also be applied to any 8s you have as a result of not picking a stat.

If you take a Str 16, for example, and a "+2 Str", you can combine all of those with a +2 Str racial ability to start with a 20 Str.

What is MAD?
Multiple Ability Dependency. Some classes (Paladin and Monk come to mind) really like you to have multiple high stats, as well as having a decent Con. Other classes (like Rogue or Fighter, or some casters) can get away with just one high stat (also known as SAD).

Personally, I don't tend to think of casters as being overly SAD unless they're willing to tank their AC, which I'm generally against. But that's personal bias.
