Help! Someone's going to play a Frenzied Berserker!

Merciful weapons? Even if it is "only" non-lethal damage, you are weakening your compatriots. People act as if non-lethal damage is nothing, but being knocked unconscious in the middle of a fight can often be a death sentance.
It's a good thing that the FB only targets allies AFTER all the enemies are taken care of.

merciful weapons do an extra 1d6 damage which can, but doesn't have to be subdual. It's better than flaming, or frost IMO.
Did I mention it's a +1 adamantine, merciful falchion with quicksilver and ghost touch weapon alchemical capsules sheathed in a sacred scabbard. Improved Critical at level 8.
Oh yeah baby:
DR/adamantine check
DR/magic check
DR/good check
Incorporeal no problem
DR/silver check
Crit on a 15-20 with an auto confirm against evil creaturs.

Also, Pro Evil only hedges out compulsion from evil people or creatures or at least that's the way we play. Also, it doesn't suppress mental compulsions in effect it only suppresses those that are cast on them after the Pro Evil is up. The spell is worded quite poorly for that distinction, but I think that's the way to go as personally I feel it's wrong to let a 1st or 2nd level spell shut down so many higher level ones.

The weapon deals an extra 1d6 points of damage, and all damage it deals is nonlethal damage. On command, the weapon suppresses this ability until commanded to resume it.

If you suppress the ability, the weapon does not deal an extra 1d6 points of damage, and all damage it deals is not nonlethal damage.

You can't deal the extra 1d6 points of damage without all the damage being nonlethal.

As written, Protection from Evil hedges charms and compulsions that grant ongoing control whether or not they're evil; it won't eject a possessing life force that was already in place, but it will prevent the exercise of mental control from a Dominate Person spell whether the Dominate or the PfE was cast first.

Your group is, of course, within your rights to play differently; however, it's unlikely to be of use to people at other tables unless they also adopt your rules.
