D&D 3.x Help translating monsters from 3.5 to First Edition

I know this is kind of backwards, but I reckon that the expertise folks in this forum have amassed with 1E to 3E conversions might be helpful in doing the reverse!

i've seen this idea before - retrofitting newer monsters for the older system. while it can be done, and is probably easier done than said, it would require some work and time, and a good working familiarity with both systems. in fact, a lot of the built-in stuff in 3.5 would lend itself to 1E stats just fine, with a bit of hammering and chiseling.

unfortunatley, the next two weeks are a busy time for me...

I have a simple system to convert 3.x monsters to 1st edition. Its starting point is an inversion of the "Conversion Manual" that WotC released back in 2000.
