After about a 6 month hiatus i am returning to my gaming group. The Gm was very impressed with my last character and the way he was played, however he was unfortunatly killed but he was given a proper funural according to his religion. The gm has stated if i want to bring him back i can, he would now be a messenger of his god (kwon a lawful god of the world of orb) now we have to develop the character we need him to have a cr of about 7-8 we would be using a celstial template which from memory has a cr of +2 one of the powers he wanted was for him to turn into a tiger (the gods symbol) according to the mm a tiger has a cr of 4 which would lead him to have his monks level of 1 or 2.
Now i am doing it correctly just to add up the cr of the tiger and a celestial along with his monk level to get a final cr. Can people suggest some other ideas to help, such as being a shapeshifter or something.Would my monk and celestial powers stack even in tiger form? eg flurry of blows.
