Help with a sleep poison idea

Honestly? If they really like to avoid killing, having them come in in large number and using non-lethal weapons would probably work better, and drive in the fact that they are not blood-thirsty.

While not blood thirsty, they will use lethal force to protect their lands. The party ran up against a hunting party and the hunting party tried to drive them off. The savages are aware of the party and the fact that the party killed the hunt leader in fair combat so they want to prove their superiority as warriors by "Counting coup" and kidnapping a party member and not coming in overwhelming force. They will be sending more warriors than the party has people but the warriors they send will be young warriors trying to prove their worth (War1 maybe Fighter1) and a lesser shaman (Druid 4 maybe 5 or spirit shaman 4 maybe 5). The shaman is there to observe and to cast entange or maybe briarweb to let the warriors get away after they've captured a woman.
