Between low hp, low damage, low AC and low gear, you're going to be remarkably ineffective as a fighter. Fighters really need str and con to do their jobs, and you're short on both. Consider spending all the rest of your levels on rog.
With no starting cash, you really don't have any options for improving your AC more than a point or two. I'd say forget the armor check penalty for now and wear the heaviest armor you can afford.
