I am trying to expand the Celtic idea of the Moonshae isles, and I want to create a very mystic, Arthurian myth feel to the place. Does anyone know of an Arthurian campaign setting I could draw from, or a website the perhaps outlines some of the famous sites and personas of the legends? The information does not necessarily need to be British mythology either, Celtic and Irish themes are also welcome as well as Norse.
This is my first step in recreating the Forgotten Realms into a campaign setting that is more mystical and mysterious than the cut and dry Realms outlined in the occasionally good novels and the campaign setting. I really like the FRCS but I a seek more mystery in my campaign setting (and possible a useful way to draw off some of the munchkin steam that seems to pervade the Realms).
Any comments, ideas?
[edit: I know about Pendragon although I haven't read any of the rulebooks, and is GURPS Celtic any good?]
