Help with conversation

I'm trying to start a Conversation with someone, and every time I try to send the message, I get this message:
Oops! We ran into some problems. Your content can not be submitted. This is likely because your content is spam-like or contains inappropriate elements. Please change your content or try again later. If you still have problems, please contact an administrator.

I have no idea what is problematic about my message, nor do I know how to contact an administrator. Any help would be much appreciated!

Is it possible the person you're trying to send to has you on 'ignore'? I've no idea if putting someone on ignore blocks attempts at private messaging but if it did, this is kinda what I'd expect the result to look like.

Does your message include a link?

I told someone that their post about their campaign was interesting and asked if they had more info to share. There was nothing spam like and no link. I did try to completely reword it several times. I don't know how to contact an administrator.

I’ve never seen that error before. Can you send any other messages?

Sometimes (overactive) spam filters flag long posts. That's the only other thing I can think of that might be happening here. Maybe take a screenshot of the post and share?

Hmm, I just tried to send it again and it went through. I'm not sure what it was, maybe because although my account is really old, I haven't ever used messages before and hadn't made a forum post in like 12 years.
