Help with telekinesis!

IMO limiting the number of items thrown to 1/level doesn't work well. What happens if your fight takes place on a pebbly beach, and the psion wants to throw pebbles? How much does each pebble weight? Etc.

IMO it makes little sense that you can violently throw as much weight as you can carry; it takes much more force to throw something. Your DnD character can carry quite a bit of weight, but they can't be expected to throw that amount of weight.

IMC I'm limiting the violent thrust to 5-10 pounds/manifester level (still doing 1d6 damage/level; the exact weight is still being tweaked). I also don't let them accurately throw shuriken, arrows, etc, since that requires precise control of each shuriken, arrow, etc (at the very least, that would require the weapon proficiency and a -4 penalty), but throwing boulders is fair game.

I'm still tweaking the more powerful TK powers.

Hey don't look at me look at the PH, weapon arrow d4. I don't ask, I just tell. 1d4 is when it's a weapon, 1d6 or 1d8 is when its ammunition cause technically the bow is doing 1d6 or 1d8. Or how about looking at it this way arrows do 1d4, short bows do an extra 1d2, and long bows an additionall 1d4.

Ahh. I see. Cool. Thanks for the clarification. :)
