Help with Warhammer RPG

Hey Gang,

So we're trying to work up some characters and we're a bit confused about adding to characteristics. In other words, if you've a 39% in one of your characteristics and for whatever reason during the creation process you get to add, say 5% to that characteristic, do you simply add 5% giving you a WS of 44% or do you add 5% of 39% which would be I believe 42%?

Anyone have a clue as to which method is correct?

You add the full 5%. You do not multiply (and then add) the percents, straight adding.
