help

I am planning on making a campaign, and I was planning on making a faerie monster, but I wanted to check to see if there's already one available, and I was wondering, are there any statistics for a Fairy/Faerie available, preferrably a meduim sized humanoid with wings? I have searched the creature catalog and have failed to find one. Any help would be appriciated.

Sigh... What alignment?

here are some suggestions:

Sylph (resembles a faerie) - CR 5 - MM2 - Page 192 - Align. N - Medium Sized

Pixie (The original Faerie) - CR 4 - MM - Page 172 - Align. NG - Small

Does that help?

There are tons of fey... and many more that haven't yet been converted. I'd check listings by type in whatever monster books you have available to you and look for whatever suits your needs.

Here is a template I popped out of my head, inspired by your post, 'Donald.' :)

Just for you, the Winged Template. Add this to a nymph or satyr, and bingo, you have your medium-sized winged fey. :)

Winged (Template)
A winged creature is one that is nearly identical to its land-bound counterpart but which possesses wings that are capable of flight. The type of wings that a winged creature has is generally based on its alignment, the usual being that good creatures have feathered wings, neutral creatures have insect-like wings, and evil creatures have bat-like wings. This is not a strict rule, however, especially as regards insect wings; some can be like those of a butterfly, others like those of a dragonfly.

Winged creatures bear a strong resemblance to other creatures and are often mistaken as such. A winged horse is likely to be called a pegasus, although it possesses none of the magical abilities or intelligence of a pegasus. Winged elves or humans might be mistaken for celestials.

Creating a Winged Creature
“Winged” is a template that can be added to any non-Plant creature that is not already winged or otherwise capable of flight (hereafter referred to as the “base creature”). Its type does not change. It uses all the special abilities and ability scores of the base creature, except as noted here.

Speed: A winged creature gains a fly speed equal to its ground speed +10 ft. with a maneuverability of average.

AC: Since flying creatures need to be lighter, decrease the base creature’s natural armor bonus (if any) to half.

Attacks: Creatures of Large size or larger gain a wing buffet attack. This is generally the last attack type the creature is willing to make, so iterative attack rules apply.

Damage: A winged creature of Large size or larger has a wing buffet attack. Use the table below to determine the damage of that attack.

Size Damage
Large 1d4
Huge 1d6
Colossal 1d8
Gargantuan 2d6

Abilities: Str -2, Dex +2. Winged creatures have lighter, more nimble frames, and most of their body strength is geared towards powering its wings.

Skills: Flying creatures have innate navigation ability, and receive a +4 racial bonus to Intuit Direction.

Feats: A winged creature can gain the Flyby Attack feat, but does not receive it automatically. Optionally, it can swap out one of its innate feats for the Flyby Attack feat.

Challenge Rating: Same as base creature +1

This sample winged creature uses a mind flayer as the base creature.

Well, its a second draft, and I haven't written any of the description other then the first sentance. I still need to create their new spell and diety, but any imput would be helpful. I think the challenge rating is a little low. I might post this in the homebrew section.
